Vacancy Summary

We are currently looking for a Trainee or Qualified NVQ Assessor to join the team delivering Retail NVQ's in the Bedfordshire area. This rewarding role will allow you to draw on your experience of the Retail industry to provide professional assessment and support to learners in their workplaces, enabling them to realise their career potential. Previous assessing experience is not essential. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for a career change, and the opportunity to work for a large organisation who can provide full support in obtaining the D32/33/A1 qualifications.

Your NVQ Assessor responsibilities will include:

- Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing / tutoring them in their NVQ qualifications
- Maintaining documentation on learners' records
- Liasing with Learners, Verifiers and Management
- Creating learner portfolios to agreed standards

This role will suit an excellent communicator who has experience of the Retail sector including Warehouse and Distribution industry. It is essential that you are able to work independently, managing your own time and travelling within the Bedfordshire region to visit different workplaces.

- Basic starting salary of 18,819 increasing to 19,341 once qualified
